ACB (India) Limited, along with its subsidiaries and associates,  is largest and most efficient coal washery company in the private sector with an aggregate designed beneficiation capacity, on a proportional basis, of 65.61 million tons per annum. Our beneficiation operations are spread over 19 locations in India in the major coal bearing states of Chhattisgarh, Orissa, Maharashtra and Telangana and include the largest coal beneficiation plant in India in Dipka (Chhattisgarh), with a designed capacity of 12.00 million tons per annum. The Company’s core business is coal beneficiation and power generation. Our Corporate Office is in Gurgaon, and we also have offices at various other locations in India. The rating for non-convertible debentures of the Company is IND A+/Stable from India Ratings and CRISIL A-/Stable from CRISIL.



ACB (India) Limited, the flagship Company of Group, was incorporated in March 1997 as Aryan Coal Benefications Private Limited. It started its operations of washing coal from Korba Coalfields of South Eastern Coalfileds Limited in Chhattisgarh in the year 1999. ACB made foray into the thermal power generation sector by undertaking a 30 MW Pilot Power Project in 2007, using coal washery rejects as fuel. The plant is located adjacent to its Coal Beneficiation Plant at Chakabura in Korba District of Chhattisgarh.



Washery Operations: 

ACB (India) Limited started its operations in 1999 by setting up a coal washery at Dipka area in the Korba Coalfields of SECL in Chhattisgarh. The Initial capacity of the plant was 1 MTPA (Million tons per annum), which has gradually been upgraded to capacity of 12 MTPA. ACBIL, along with its subsidiaries and associates, has an aggregate designed coal beneficiation capacity of 43.41 million tons per annum in Chhattisgarh, a state that has significant coal reserves according to the Ministry of Coal.


Major Customers of Group include power houses from the states of Punjab, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and various private players like Reliance Infrastructure Limited, Nabha Power Limited, RattanIndia Power Limited, Hindalco Industries Limited, ACC Limited, OCL India Limited, Bharat Aluminum Company Limited etc.

Power Operations: 

In power sector, the Company established its 15 MW Wind Mills in 2005 in Maharashtra and 30 MW coal based thermal power plant in Chhattisgarh in 2007. The company has set up another coal based thermal power plant with an installed capacity of 270 MW in Chhattisgarh State. Ist Unit of 135MW thermal power plant has been commissioned in December'2011 and IInd unit of 135 MW was commissioned in June'2012. In March 2014, we commissioned the IInd unit of 30MW at Chakabura, Chhattisgarh.


We, through our subsidiaries, TRN Energy Private Limited, Spectrum Coal and Power Limited and S V Power Private Limited have also set up coal based thermal power plant with an installed capacity of 2 x 300MW, 2 x 50 MW and 60 MW, respectively, in the state of Chhattisgarh. Our associate company, Spectrum Power Generation Limited, is running a gas based power plant with an installed capacity of 208 MW in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Our associate companies, Maruti Clean Coal and Power Limited and Swastik Coal and Minerals Private Limited have set-up coal based power plant with an installed capacity of 300MW and 25MW, respectively, in the state of Chhattisgarh.
